Senior Java Developer - Software Engineer - Java Team Lead - Dublin
Senior Java Developer - Software Engineer - Java Team Lead required to join a leading Global Airline based in Dublin. This role is driven by one strategic objective which is to be responsible for the quality and timeliness of the Middleware development initiatives. You will be working in the development community; however, you will need to be able to liaise with senior stakeholders up to C level as well as offshore and onshore development teams.
As a Senior Java Developer - Software Engineer - Java Team Lead, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Managing day to day activities of the on and offshore development team, sizing development modules, estimating and allocating work to team members and reviewing deliverables
- Designing and specification of enterprise integration applications and services
- Mentoring other team members in the implementation of SOA and other development techniques
- Offering support to other team members with a willingness to perform defect analysis and resolution where required
As a Senior Java Developer - Software Engineer - Java Team Lead, it is essential that you have previous experience within a similar position along with the following skill and knowledge: -
- At least 10 years Java experience
- Previous experience as a technical lead in a large-scale software development project
- Java technologies including Spring Frameworks
- Application Servers (JBoss an advantage)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Eligible to live and work in the EU
- Good knowledge of airline business processes
