Production Technician, Southend
Hours of Work 6am -2pm & 2pm -10pm rotating shifts
Responsibilities include:
* Responsible for own health and safety & raising any safety concerns
* Working closely with production teams on improvements projects.
* Ensuring machines run effectively to OEE targets
Key skills/Qualifications:
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
* Previous experience utilizing lean manufacturing tools and concepts.
* Track record of effectively develop, coach, empower, inspire and motivating others.
* Strong decision making skills and accountability
* Have worked in Engineering/high volume Production environment
* Apprenticeship served Engineer, Experience of automatic assembly equipment
* Experienced in Mechanical, electrical & pneumatic fault finding
* Experience on all types of Toolroom machines would be an advantage
* Able to work under pressure and too tight time scales
* Be physically fit and agile
* Logical thinker and planner. Be able to nurture and train others
* Able to liaise with engineering depts On projects work
