Commercial Manager - LOT1JP - Contract - Westminster - £445 per day
Assessing the existing commercial landscape and looking at the impact on programme delivery. Designing and implementing approaches which ensure effective delivery of the right outcome for the department. Leading on supplier integration with regards to relationship and cost impact upon the department. Clarifying the ability to terminate current contracts, working with programme finance leads to understand impact and realisation of any potential benefits. The ability to renegotiate existing contracts. Managing the impact of existing commercial financial models. Acting as primary point of contact between the incumbent supplier(s) and the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the existing commercial landscape and looking at the impact on programme delivery
- Designing and implementing approaches which ensure effective delivery of the right outcome for the department.
- Leading on supplier integration with regards to relationship and cost impact upon the department
- Clarifying the ability to terminate current contracts, working with programme finance leads to understand impact and realisation of any potential benefits
- The ability to renegotiate existing contracts
- Managing the impact of existing commercial financial models. Acting as primary point of contact between the incumbent supplier(s) and the department
Skills/Experience:
- Someone with good sound commercial knowledge
- Someone who has evaluated and can train others to evaluate Presentation skills/training skills to roll out for mini competitions
Please note that the client has determined that the off-payroll working rules will apply to this assignment and where a worker elects to provide their services through an intermediary (such as a personal services company) then income tax and primary national insurance contributions will be deducted at source from any payments made to the intermediary.
This contract will be run through an Umbrella company.
