As the 'go-to' mid-tier Service Provider for many Australian and International clients, FinXL enjoys a diverse client portfolio, boasting some of the industry's leading: Telecommunication, Banking and Finance and Commercial Corporations, along with many State and Federal Government Departments.

One of our clients is seeking several key resources to commence immediately onsite in Melbourne CBD. Existing and new Scrum teams are needing additional resources and we are seeking the best of the best to join us on our journey.

Day to day activities and responsibilities will include;

  • Encouraging the team to proactively participate in Agile tasks
  • Working Hands-on with your team whilst driving continuous improvement
  • Executing all agile ceremonies across multiple teams including scrum-of-scrum sessions
  • Taking ownership of the team's Agile rituals to ensure they are well facilitated and improved
  • Strong team-building and facilitation skills
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across distributed teams
  • Work with project/program management to report on statuses, dependencies, risk and issues
  • Ability to drive outcomes and maintain a sense of urgency across multiple teams
  • Estimating, planning, prioritisation, impediments, coaching the project team, reporting and more

You will (at a minimum) possess;

  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills
  • Relevant Scrum Coach/Master certifications
  • A minimum of three years in a Scrum Master role, managing up to 6 direct reports - Developers, Testers and Analysts
  • Proven experience in managing an Agile delivery team across large, complex projects
  • Experienced in risk management, planning and mitigation
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Ideally (but not mandatory) experience working in the financial industry
  • Successful delivery and implementation of end-to-end projects using Agile with a recognised certification preferred
  • Banking infrastructure, digital and mobility experience will be highly regarded, but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated success in delivering outcomes using sustainable agile practices
  • Exceptional organisational skills to work in complex environments with multiple stakeholders
