Description
Flywheel is seeking an Freelance Designer, to support the creation, design and execution of all marketing projects for Flywheel Sports. This includes carrying out direction from our internal and external creative and marketing partners in the design and production of various brand projects. This position requires a versatile team-player who is comfortable designing for digital, social, motion and print. We are seeking candidates who come with experience designing for campaigns across a variety of platforms and can talk to how they built it out. Additionally, this candidate must have the ability to take on multiple projects at a time and prioritize work under tight-timelines.The Freelance Designer will be involved in a variety projects, including:
Email Design
Refreshing the design of our marketing emails and branded newsletter.
Print Collateral Design
Designing print collateral including posters, flyers, 3x5 cards, stickers, and event signage.
Ecommerce / Retail Design
Retouching photos as well as layouts for our E-Commerce site and retail marketing collateral. "
Requirements:
Minimum of five 3-5 years design experience in advertising and cross media
Master of Adobe creative suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, layout and typography, social design, motion graphics, email design, conceptual sketches, logo design, proven concept development and refinement, inspiration gathering, visual and verbal communication, time management
Organized and focused approach to executing design concepts
Good communicator both written and verbal; Able to articulate ideas and design thinking behind them
Able to communicate with partners and vendors in a professional manner
Able to work both collaboratively and independently
Able to design problem-solve and work creatively with limited assets
Superior skill in layout, typography, and photography
Proven ability to work quickly on tight timelines with flawless execution
Multi-tasker; deadline-oriented
Portfolio of work showcasing abilities and scope of proficiency
