Looking for a Finance Analyst to work with a public sector client.

Pay Rate: £250- £300 per day

The location - based full time in Chesterfield, which is the midlands
The purpose of this role is to
(1) to provide FD teams with relevant and timely financial analysis to understand and evaluate income and costs,
(2) to provide financial accounting support to the FD teams and ensure compliance with the Financial Control Framework,
(3) to development and improve business reporting through Core Finance, Business Intelligence, and other supporting systems.
Essential Skills and competencies required:
Good understanding of finance systems including SAP and Business Intelligence (BI). Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and experience including excel, word and Powerpoint.
Can distil complex issues into short and incisive summaries and recommendations
Budgeting & planning skills
Can communicate effectively to all audiences including non-finance experienced colleagues
Ability to identify and make improvements, integrating through greater use of automation.
Questioning and challenging approach, Can do attitude & ability to adapt to changing business priorities.
Desirable Skills:
AAT qualified
SAP desirable
