Knowledge & Experience

* Experience of developing, planning and executing proactive international communications campaigns.
* Strong media relations experience across personal finance, consumer lifestyle, news generation and social media, ideally in global and country media.
* Strong project management skills.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, including ability to translate complex data accurately into plain English.
* Proven stakeholder management skills.
* Good networking, collaboration and teamwork skills.
* Good interpersonal skills including listening, flexibility, influencing and negotiating.
* Able to work independently and under pressure.
* Able to lead a remote/virtual campaign project team.
* Proven experience of being able to deliver accurate work quickly.
* Extensive experience across a range of communications disciplines in a large corporate body or in a communications consultancy dealing with large corporate bodies.
* Comfortable working with and interpreting complex business data to create PR stories.
* Confident at managing agencies and scrutinizing costs and budgets.
* Strong commercial focus; external awareness of market/industry/regulatory issues.
* Powerful personal impact and presentation.
* Creative thinker and problem solver.
* Willingness to work outside office hours when required.
* Effective in managing teams and stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience working for both consumer and corporate brands.
* Experience of successfully managing sensitive issues and crises.
* Strong planning, budgeting and strategy formulation experience.
