Our client are looking to recruit a Senior Communications and Media Manager to join the Strategic Communications Team. You will be part of a team who will provide specialist communications support across the wider division and includes developing strategy, providing advice and producing communication content.
Key duties will include:
- Strategic Communications Management
- Working with the wider team to develop policy and implement communication strategies
- Producing communication plans for allocated work streams
- Developing communication outputs including website copy, media releases, opinion pieces, leaflets, blogs, newsletter copy and social media content (including video). Providing communication support to senior management
- Facilitating media briefings
- Assisting in the creation of communication strategies, implementing and evaluating these.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- Extensive experience in Strategic Communications
- Experience in copywriting across a range of communications channels including print and digital.
- Proficient at proof reading.
- Experience of working in a senior role in a communications environment
- Proven track record of delivery across communications, campaigns and digital channels, using a programme of continuous improvement and learning.
- Experience of working well with stakeholders at various levels of seniority, with an ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
