Business Continuity Senior Analyst - BCM, ISO 22301, BIA, DR
My client is looking for a Business Continuity Senior Analyst to execute Business Impact Analysis sessions with my clients business units following their established processes. Ideally candidates will have a current Business Continuity certification and relevant experience.
The role will support the establishment and ongoing operation of the second line of defense within the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) which includes Emergency Response, Incident Management, Business Recovery and Disaster Recovery planning.
The role will be accountable for ensuring that business units are adequately identifying, measuring, managing and reporting business disruption risks, and are in compliance with all global and jurisdictional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Business Continuity professional accreditation/certification
- Business Degree (or other relevant post graduate qualification an advantage)
- Experience with ISO 22301
- Progressive experience in a business continuity or disaster recovery function
- Design and oversight of BCM framework or Management System
- Support the first-line defense
- Ensure adequate recognition, measurement, management, and reporting of risks
- Work with plan leaders and coordinators
- Business acumen and operational expertise including an understanding of insurance operations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent team building skills, both as a leader and as a team player
- Excellent communication skills in working with senior executives and regulators
- Strong logic and data integration skills
- Strong critical thinking
