Position: Project Manager
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 Months
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
- Leadership skills
- Working knowledge of the PMI project management life cycle
- Working knowledge of the change management life cycle
- At least 3 years' experience in network protocols, security, operating systems, and/or infrastructure
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate the needs of technical peers, technical and user management, business users, vendors, and staff members
- Excellent verbal and written communications to include grammar, composition, punctuation, writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience with meeting facilitation
- Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience with requirements/environments for PCI, PUB1075, and/or NIST.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
- Current industry certifications for Microsoft products and/or information security practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft products- Windows Server 2016, SharePoint 2016, Project 2016, SCCM 2012, Windows 2016, Office 2016
- BA, QA certifications & experience
- Internet standards, including TCP/IP, and DNS, DHCP
- Server operating systems installation and configuration
- Internet security
- Virtual Private Networking (VPN),
- TCP/IP, Local Area Networks (LAN)
- Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- Easily adapts to changing priorities
- Knowledge of information technology best practices, organization and operations
- Ability to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required
- Experience as a project manager in government IT projects
