Description
Fantastic new long-term contract opportunity for an Information Architect to join a multinational client in The Hague.
Duties:
- Business information and Datamodelling using ArchiMate and UML, both in support of solution architectures delivered through projects and also for the overall domain architecture.
- Data flow analysis, including data dependencies and data interface models.
- Business information analysis, including incorporation of business information objects in BPMN business process models.
- Design of physical data models and linkage to the enterprise data model.
- Coordination of data model requirements gathering for various project teams.
- Reviewing data migration plans.
- Knowledge sharing, providing modelling support and guidance to modelling teams.
- Performing quality assurance of work done by modelling teams.
- Integrating domain business information and data models into a business information model and enterprise data model.
- Proposing updates to the meta-data model.
Educational and experience:
- University degree and a considerable knowledge of business processes and information flow.
Essential skills:
- Very good knowledge of information modelling best practices and tools (ArchiMate, UML, ERD) and Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Good knowledge of business process modelling best practices and BPMN.
- Knowledge of and experience at Enterprise Architecture level (frameworks (TOGAF).
Desirable skills:
- Good knowledge of IDEF, XML, XSD, Archi and Aris.
- Good knowledge DMN - Decision Model and Notation.
- Knowledge of requirements engineering.
- Knowledge of setting up and maintaining glossaries and vocabularies.
- Knowledge of data interfacing and interoperability.
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
- Knowledge of data migration.
- Knowledge of Case Management Systems and standards like CMMN.
- Knowledge of Rules Based Systems.
- Preferably, knowledge of different database implementations of data models (eg relational databases, graph databases, and others).
- Good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
- Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).
