Description

  • Proficiency in Monitoring and Management tools
  • Understanding of Networking Security Best Practices
  • In-depth knowledge in Cisco Switching (C7000, Nexus 9000, 5000 series Switches and Catalyst 3650, 3850)
  • In-depth knowledge in Routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF)
  • Good understanding of Cisco series Layer 3 and Layer 2
  • In-depth knowledge in Cisco Wireless (WLC - 2500 and 5500 series, 3850 WLC, WAP, Autonomous WAP)
  • Cisco Routing (ASR1K, 4300, 2900)
  • Good understanding of Cisco VPN Routers
  • Software Defined Network (SDN) Products/Technologies - ACI, Big Switch, NSX (Any of them)
  • Cisco ISE
  • TACACS and Radius
  • DNS, DHCP and IP Addressing Solutions - Bluecat, Efficient IP or similar
  • Firewalls - Palo-Alto, Cisco ASA (Preferred, not mandatory)
  • Load Balancers - F5, NetScaler or Cisco ACS

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains technical designs, data and information of Customer's landscape
  • Responsible for maintaining the entire customer landscape and for that to have an integrated overview of the landscape
  • Participates in P1 calls, willing to work on On-call
  • Responsible for Quality of RCA
  • Responsible for Quality of Impact Analysis
  • Responsible for landscape risk management (Identifies Single Points of Failures, etc.)
  • Reports improvements and advices SDM regarding the quality of ITIL processes like configuration, release and life cycle management
  • Responsible for ensuring that all designs meet NXP standards and all exceptions are documented
  • Guards and accepts technical landscape designs
  • Act as advisor to Business Relation Manager (BRM) and technical engineers
  • Advice and approve change process with medium/high impact
  • Reports to Lead Architect

  • CCIE Service Provider: The expert-level ISP (Internet Service Provider) network engineers who bring the knowledge and skill to build an extensible Service Provider infrastructure to deliver rich managed services
  • CCIE Wireless: The expert who is able to demonstrate broad theoretical knowledge of wireless networking and a solid understanding of wireless local area networking (WLAN) technologies from Cisco.
