DB2 System Programmer/Administartor
One of my clients is urgently looking for a DB2 System Programmer/Administrator for a 12 month contract in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The DB2 System Programmer/Administrator will have:
- In-depth knowledge of DB2 Connect.
- In-depth knowledge of DB2 WorkGroup and Enterprise editions.
- In-depth knowledge of DB2 Runtime.
- Experience with DB2 Backup and Restore.
- Experience with DB2 performance optimisation.
- Good DB2 problem determination/debug skills.
- Good understanding of
- IBM software (WAS, MQ, etc.)
- Operating systems (Linux, Windows,AIX)
- Infrastructure & network communication
- General knowledge of IBM Mainframe Basic DB2 Servers/Client Administration
- Installing DB2 (Workgroup, Enterprise, Connect and DB2 Runtime editions) on various platforms
- Analysis and tuning DB2 (All Editions/versions) on multiple platforms (AIX,Linux and Windows)
- Plan Upgrade of Fixes/Patches/APARs
- Production support, including problem analysis and resolution.
- System Security, includes Security Hardning, integration of NSF and PCI DSS 3.3 standard - including maintain system accoding to best pratice (tech spec), track security issues/fixes.
- Participate in Yearly PCI re-certification
- Participate in ad hoc Audits.
- Perform quaterly Health Checks of systems.
- Capacity Reporting.
- Schema Deployment/General DBA support
- Daily Houskeeping of DB2 tables/DB2
- Plan Backup of tables
- Contribute to DR plan and partificate in DR test.
- User Access Mgmt to DB2 on various platforms.
