MS SQL Developer - Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium
Languages: FRENCH and ENGLISH
Skills and Experience:
- 4 year college degree in Computer Technology, Management Information Systems, Management or related field of study.
- Prefer SQL skills to extract data for reporting and analysing.
- 5 - 7 years' experience in business analysis, application support, application development or systems architecture (SQL is a must, all other database are nice to have).
- First experience with SQL-database containing temporal data.
- Proficient understanding of application software systems from an end-user perspective.
Description of work:
- Provides technical expertise on the SQL database management system to users.
- Monitors database transactions to ensure correct usage of the database.
- Develops and monitors procedures and functions.
- Monitors database and application backups to ensure recoverability.
- Research and review information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, develop business process understanding, and work with customers to uncover unmet business needs.
- Tests, corrects, monitors, updates, and documents developed applications.
