Network & Security Engineer - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH
Skills and Experience:
- You have a Bachelor degree in an ICT direction and you have at least five years of relevant experience.
- You are familiar with network technologies and routing protocols.
- You work methodically and project-based.
- You have knowledge of the assigned technology domain:
- Switches/Routers (Cisco, Juniper),
- Firewalls (Juniper SSG and SRX) (Fortinet)
- F5 (LTM, LC), SSL Encryption,
- VPN, Proxy (Bluecoat) and Monitoring.
- ITIL notions and experience with ticketing tools (ITSM tools)
Description of work:
- As Network Engineer you are responsible for the design, installation and configuration of the global network and security infrastructure.
- Your tasks and responsibilities are:
- Management of the WAN, Firewalls, security perimeter and Switches.
- Define projects that you realize independently, together with colleagues or with suppliers.
- Determine the concepts and standards of the environment in accordance with the vision and strategy of the company.
- Act as the last internal link in the support process of the ICT department.
- Building on a high-performance and stable ICT environment.
