Technical Writer (M5)Our client, a leading software development company and employer of choice, is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and dedicated Technical Writer for a minimum 12 month contract within their Melbourne IT team. Ideally they are looking to employ a technical writer with solid experience working with both Development and Operations teams in the production of functional specifications and process mapping.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
Extensive experience in the development of functional specifications
A minimum of 5 years technical writing experience
Sound knowledge and understanding of ISO 27001 certification
Quality experience in Information Mapping, Process Writing and Gap Analysis
A background of close collaboration with IT team members
Proficiency in writing, editing and reviewing standard operating procedures and various quality related technical documents
Excellent attention to detail
A solid work ethic, initiative and independent thinking
The ability to respond positively to meeting project time frames
Very good verbal and written communication skills
