Linux/Ops Engineer
For one of Netherlands's largest financial clients, we are currently seeking an experienced Ops Engineer with Oracle and Linux expertise. This will be a stable 6-12 months' contract in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. Paying excellent rates (Possible extensions).
You will join an dynamic environment where you will get the space to speak up your vision.
You will be working in close co-operation with stakeholders and you will be actively participating in the extension of the platform's capabilities by deploying and configuring new features, components and releases in a controlled way.
The ideal Linux/Ops Engineer will have 75% of the following:
- Linux: (bash)Scripting, server LCM (patches, capacity & performance, etc.)
- Java/jvm/Tomcat
- Oracle Application development: (PL)SQL/packages/regular maintenance
- Oracle DBA: Database Administration AIX/Linux Shell Scripting
- ELK + Graphite/Grafana script and dashboard development
- CDAAS: Ansible, Artifactory, GIT, Jenkins
- Stack virtualization using Docker (image and container LCM)
- Competences
- Proficient in both the Dutch and English language
- Team player; Good social skills
- Strong analytical skills
- You are naturally someone who works accurately and precisely
