Communications Lead (Marketing Stories, Writing, Public Relations)
This is an exciting new opportunity to work with a large civil engineering organisation at their central London offices. The position is working as a Communications lead responsible for researching and planning communications activities, producing communications materials and managing communications channel content for a major infrastructure project. Experience working in a similar role within the construction/civil engineering industry is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities;
- Research and plan communications activity to support project milestones
- Play a leading role in implementing the communications strategy to tell the project's story to public and stakeholders
- Manage a specific communications channel delivering co-ordinated, integrated and effective communications activity and content
- Work collaboratively with the Project Team on implementation of the communication strategy, acting as a communications advisor
The key areas of experience required are:
- An experienced communications professional with a record of supporting the delivery of integrated communications strategies in infrastructure, transport or public service industries
- Experience working in a high pressure and politicised communications environment
- Excellent writing, proofing and editing skills
- The ability to identify and shape compelling stories
- The ability to place yourself in an audiences' shoes and understand how a story will land
