Description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer & an Associate who are looking for technically challenging work on cutting-edge projects, to join a high growth engineering company in London.

You will be expected to take a lead role in developing building services design on a range of building typologies and project sizes. You will become an important member of our creative, friendly team and will work on some of the most exciting and innovative buildings across the UK.

Skills and Capabilities

Essential:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering, ideally to Masters level.
  • Have achieved Chartered Engineer status via an appropriate professional institution such as IMechE or CIBSE.
  • Extensive experience in the field of mechanical building services design with experience across a range of project scales and building types.
  • Experienced in sustainable building design and in satisfying the regulatory and voluntary codes associated with sustainability and energy strategy.
  • A good awareness of building design beyond own discipline.
  • Experience of leading teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ability to work with the best UK based and international Architects and understand architectural intent.
  • Able to understand the balance of engineering priorities on differing projects
  • Able to quickly develop successful client relationships.
  • An ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is important.
  • A deep understanding of industry software packages including Excel, IES/TAS and Revit.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
  • Highly motivated and willing to take on new challenges.
