Procurement SME - ERP Deployment

GSK have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement SME who has prior experience on ERP deployment and change projects to join them on a 12 month contract.

The role is to be based at their Worthing site.

Project: Implementation of future M-ERP Operating standard system and model.

Responsibilities:

Document fully the current business processes and how they interact with on site business processes and any above site shared services.

Perform Impact of Change Analysis on the to be' Business requirements to provide detailed site change projects to facilitate M-ERP implementation.

Implement the future process and data model by providing detailed knowledge of Business User Requirements and ensure all areas are covered in the new M-ERP solution

Responsibility for testing the new build application end to end in conjunction with other SMEs.

Work with the core M-ERP team to undertake reviews of and determine the implications of any changes to the core solution.

Transition knowledge of the system across your area through ensuring appropriate training is provided.

Develop detailed project plans and ensure aligned with overall site timelines.

Working with the central Subject Matter experts, review and assess the requirements for localisations.

Identify and assess opportunities to remove bespoke customisations as part of the standardisation initiative defining alternative standard work to minimise business impact.

Identify also as part of the implementation areas where the M-ERP solution can add value to the business at site.

Responsible for Driving Change Management and Standard Work.

Simplified global standards are in place, for area of responsibility.

Adopt fully the ADP process and Business change toolkit. Implement required tools at all stages of the project.

Work with the Business Change lead on site and Deployment team to assess changes for the site and participate in the deployment planning activities.

Develop training and education process by working closely with the core training lead.

Ensure all SOP's are in place for go live

Ensure all regulatory aspects of the project are covered through project plans and no regulatory delays to timelines.

Delivery training where appropriate.

Ensure all project risks for your area are tracked and managed appropriately.

Responsible for Common and Standard Data Standards

Responsible for defining allowable data field values and building the data load spreadsheet definitions (in conjunction with the core M-ERP team and data team.)

Responsible for assessing and implementing changes in item codes and knock on effects of same if this is in scope of initial deployment.

Responsible for all reporting requirements for their area of expertise.

Communications

Attend weekly Value stream meeting for your area of expertise and communicate project schedule, impact and proactively communicate the project in a positive light.

Develop strong working relationship with Core team and communicate any issues/concerns highlighted.

Specialised Knowledge:

Is respected by peers and stakeholders as expert' in defined business process.

Demonstrated depth of knowledge and experience across the end-to-end process that they own, acquired through detailed operational and technical experience in the subject, likely to be developed over time.

Knowledge of external and internal best practices relevant to aligned process area.

Knowledge of the external shared services and 3rd party group that need to be aligned in relation to the project scope.

In depth understanding of regulatory requirements for given area of expertise, to ensure processes meet regulatory expectations.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools
