Project Professional - Change Management
A Project Professional with Change Management experience is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 6-month contract with a leading UK defence business
Overview of the Project Professional contract role
An opportunity has arisen within the Weapon Systems Project Management function for a Project Professional. The successful applicant will report to the Programme Manager and support the function in the achievement of its key objectives of safety, quality, delivery, cost and people.
As a Project Professional you will work on a high profile contract and play a key part in engaging with stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure our project is delivered successfully, particularly Programme Changes. You will be part of a team enabling the delivery of the programme which includes design change, production, test & development, support and warranty.
Key skills required for the Project Professional
- Manufacturing/Defence experience
- Project Change Management experience
- Recognised PM training/qualification
- Experience of stakeholder management
- Risk Management experience
- Safety awareness
- IT Literate - MS Office/Project/SAP
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
