Desktop support engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Desktop support engineer to join well established blue chip organisation based at their prestigious offices in San Francisco
As a Desktop Support engineer you will:
Responsible for Windows 10 & VDI support transition and post migration support
* Provide technical support during Windows 10 VDI/physical PC testing phase
* Provide post-migration technical support
* Resolve Windows 10 issues generated via Support ticket management system
* Liaison with other technology teams across the firm to ensure all issues are
resolved.
* Use of migration tool to track and co-ordinate user support
* Requires:
o Experience with general deskside support
o Excellent experience with supporting Windows 10 and Virtual Desktops (VDI)
o Experience with a previous large scale Windows migration project a plus
o Ability to cope under pressure
o Pays great attention to detail
o Excellent customer facing skills, comfortable working with all different levels
of staff
o Good communication skills
