Hi there,I am running an price comparison site as an affiliate based on WordPress.
I am using ContentEgg, AffiliateEgg, Specification Table plugins.& the ReHub theme.
You need to have skills: php, xpath, api, theme customization, plugin customization.
You need to understand the behaviour of ContentEgg (Docs for ContentEgg: http://www.keywordrush.com/en/docs/content-egg/index.html) and AffiliateEgg (Docs for AffiliateEgg: (http://www.keywordrush.com/en/docs/affiliate-egg/index.html), specification table & xpath before applying.
(In simple terms: ContentEgg works on API system to fetch product from various merchants/affiliate networks, whereas AffiliateEgg works on direct shop parser, means searching directly on merchant website & I guess it is more depended on XPATH things.)
If You simply reply that yes! I can do this, then You simply wont get any reply from myside!
So read following requirements carefully.
I need following help:
1. To add function in ContentEgg & AffiliateEgg Plugin to autoupdate products based on 3 things:
a. keywords for update (should be not an mandatory field)
b. minimum price (should be not an mandatory field)
c. maximum price (should be not an mandatory field)
* Although ContentEgg has this function, but not with all the modules and where it is available it works on category base (i.e. amazon), so You have to make it work for all the modules without category selection.
* AffiliateEgg have “keywords for update” feature, but not the above b. & c. If You do not make the keywords more specific it adds some relevant product, not the required one. So You have to add the above b & c in all the modules of AffiliateEgg. (this will take 1-2 hours if You are good at XPATH)
2. I want some xpath based plugin that can pull “selected” data from page and then add it on product/post/blog pages and should be integerated with “specification table” plugin. Let me try to explain You. I manually create an specification table for specification of mobile like RAM, CAMERA, SCREEN SIZE etc. things. and when I select some tables from external pages based on our xpath plugin, then if I had selected RAM then it automatically adds values to selected specification table in page. so to make this work You have to make this plugin available on page/post so that it automatically adds data to specified fields of specification table by just updating or saving as draft. (although I had tried my best to get things clear, but still if You didnt get it then let me know)
It should be optional to integerate data with “specification table” so that if I want to add data without integerating it to specification table. Some button like yes/no to “integerate data to specification table”, if yes options for selection of Specification table, if no then can save data on post/product/page.
I am not sticky to this thing, but I need something that can help me to obtain the full specification of products from third party and that can be used for product comparison in FULL DEPTH. Apart from that I sometimes needed to save some other sort of data from page like some special notes etc. If You have some other solution for this issue I am open to discuss about it.
3. ContentEgg and AffiliateEgg is not able to fetch the shipping, emi, delivery etc. details from merchants (amazon,ebay, flipkart, snapdeal etc.). You have to add this function in both this plugins. (example: https://www.pricedekho.com/mobiles/xiaomi-redmi-note-4-64gb-gold-price-pm9qNg.html)
For adding this in AffiliateEgg can be easy through custom parsers, wont take more then 1-2 hours. read here: http://www.keywordrush.com/en/docs/affiliate-egg/CustomParsers.html
4. Apart from above, I want to add an function like: user enters his postal pincode and gets shipping details from price comparison results on product page. Now a days almost all merchants have facility for pincode to check delivery charges/whether delivery is available on location etc.
5. Theme and/or plugin dont have facility to automatically remove OR hide Expired offers from merchants and shows up with blank price on price comparison page. You have to add function that does automatically hide and/or remove this.
6. Give me the docs link of ContentEgg and AffiliateEgg for confirmation that You have already gone through it. May be You are a good programmer, but if You dont have time to read the requirements then I too dont have time to reply, so I request You to check things first so that we can to discuss further with You will understand things in better.
7. Both Plugins have option to add user reviews from merchants. But in result it only shows user reviews from 1 merchant – You have to fix this.
8. After publishing product/post/page users reviews dont get update to more user reviews that are posted after publishing the product/post/page. – You have to add this.
My budget for this project is around $50
