Description
Our Renewable Energy client is looking for a Commissioning Manager for one of their very exciting offshore wind farm projects. The Commissioning Manager will specialise in the logistic part of the offshore campaign and should have a high knowledge of substations and installation and commissioning work. This is for approx. 4 months up until 31st October 2018 with the possibility to extend further thereafter. The Consultant will work an approx. 9hr day, 5 days a week, however, this may change due to project needs.Responsibilities:
- To ensure on time commissioning of the offshore substation ready for handover to operation.
- To Establish and manage the offshore commissioning organisation within the full electrical scope.
- Manage the overall commissioning planning within the agreed construction schedule.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with main suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Coordinate project commissioning activities.
- Secure quality of commissioning works and documentation.
- Report commissioning progress/participate in commissioning meetings.
- Ensure that quality is within the agreed standard during construction.
- Ensure all commissioning is completed in due time and to agreed standard.
- To manage supervision team.
- 5 years relevant project experience required within the offshore wind farm industry.
- Must have good project management skills, coordination skills and a must have a talent for driving solutions to achieve outcomes in a fast paced environment.
- Commissioning experience within the field of MV/HV equipment, SCADA, low voltage and utility installations and components.
- Experience with offshore substation work.
- The Consultant must have his/her own iPhone mobile telephone, and PC with MS Office (not preceding) 2007.
