Quanta are looking for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to be based in Ireland for a contract opportunity with a leading organisation involved in marine renewable energy projects. Based within one hour of Dublin airport our client specialise in the design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of vital components for offshore renewable projects.Our client have already completed a number of smaller scale development projects and are working hard towards Commercialisation and as Lead Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their continued evolution.
This is a very exciting challenge that will involve both hands on design/design enhancements for electrical components and infrastructure and also supporting a team of CAD technicians and junior engineers. You will be responsible for providing support both in design processes supporting design works, conducting design assessments and design reviews and fielding technical queries from the construction team and junior engineers.
Due to the nature of the role candidates with strong design experience are favoured but industry background is open. Additional experience during project execution phases is also advantageous together with experience of SolidWorks Electrical and EPlan.
