Description

A pioneering disruptive FinTech business is looking for a Financial Controller to take on the responsibility for multiple entities across the Group through a period of process optimisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to leave their mark on a progressive FinTech company. You'll have ownership of a team of 10 and report into the Finance Director. The hiring manager describes the role as:

To be considered for the role you will need to have:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Clear track record of improving processes as the business needs someone to identify and action areas of inefficiency
  • 3-5 years banking experience in small or large banks
  • Strong technical knowledge (Required: IRFS/VAT/Tax - Desirable: CASS)
  • Advanced understanding of financial systems (Sun and Intellimatch experience is advantageous)
  • Strong management/leadership skills

  • You will ensure all finance systems are robust and compliant, fit for purpose, and scalable for future growth.
  • When needed you will support the needs of the Board and the Risk and Audit Committee.
  • The successful candidate will improve the efficiency across the Financial Control function.
  • You will be actively contributing to and leading projects as and when required.
  • Build/lead/manage a high performing financial control team.
  • Managing of the annual statutory reporting and liaise auditing services to ensure compliance.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of all other statutory and regulatory returns.
