Technical Lead
Exciting new opportunity for a Technical Lead to join an innovative technology company doing Back End development.
You will be responsible for technical leadership and Node.js development of state-of-the-art technology solutions involving Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud based messaging and chat solutions. Other duties include design, hands on coding (70% of the time), analysis of functional requirements, building & deploying highly scalable applications, Unit testing, mentoring and leading developers, and driving high quality development efforts. Our technology stack includes Node.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Couchbase, Cassandra, MySQL, Puppet, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.
This will be a 12 month contract with the option to extend or convert. We will also consider direct hire. We have flex hours and there is a potential option to telecommute one day a week after you get established based on your performance. You will be working out of our Alpharetta office.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of Back End/Server Side development experience
- Experience providing technical leadership on projects
- 3+ years of Node.js or JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems/applications
- Linux
- RESTful/Webhook APIs
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Consultative personality
