Payroll Clerk
£12.00 - £15.00 p/h

Full Time, 35 hours per week
A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Clerk to join a busy team of like-minded professionals.
You will be responsible for checking the accuracy and validity of claims from staff to process through Agresso.
The role:
* Provide information eg tax, National Insurance, Pension rules and University Regulations to members of staff and departmental administrators
* Check all staff fee claim forms to ensure amounts claimed are correct and authorised by the relevant signatory and determine their taxable status and value.
* Prioritise their workload on a monthly basis due to very strict payroll deadlines.
* Resolve cases by determining which procedures to follow on a case by case basis.
* Use careful judgement to ensure that employees are paid correctly and on time.
* Accurately process all staff fee and expenses claim forms (taxable and non-taxable) through Agresso ensuring deadlines are met.
* Carry out a wide range of payroll duties as required.
Essential:
* Payroll experience
* Proficient excel user
* Working knowledge of Tax, National Insurance and Pension.
* CIPP/Agresso
