Description
Recruit 121 has a freelance assignment for a SAP Basis Consultant to join the team of its client in Johannesburg, South Africa for 40 days on a Full time basis. This is a contract position.
Minimum core attributes:
- Strong experience in SAP Basis
Scope of Tasks:
Unicode conversion and Upgrade to EHP 8
Upgrade Oracle to be compatible with EHP 8
Prepare the Unicode conversion including the table splitting, archiving and table cleanup
Perform the Unicode conversion (Export/Import)
Custom Programs to be changed to Unicode
Assessment and actioning of SPAU and SPDD items.
Technical documentation provided on each step performed
Technical testing of the Unicode converted system.
Upgrade the system to EHP 8 SP 10
Technical testing of the upgraded system
Apply required SAP notes where applicable.
Assistance and guidance for Functional and User Acceptance Testing
The above to be done on our Clone (TBC), Development, QA and Production environment.
Implement portal 7.4/7.5 as a single view pointing to SRM and ECC
Assess the implementation of latest version of enterprise portal
Migration of the customization on current portal to new portal
Migration of Liberty-customised iViews to SAP standard iViews
Activation of new portal worksets and services (eg Talent Management)
Technical documentation provided for the implementation.
Conducting technical testing to ensure connectivity with functionality.
Assist with End to End And Functional Testing for User Acceptance Testing
The above to be implemented on QA and Production environment
Convert XI 3.0 - PI 7.31
Linking the different source and destination systems
Object migration (interfaces and ccBPM)
Re-configuration
Migration between systems
Unit testing
End to End testing
Provide guidance for User Acceptance testing
Alert rule creation
