Description
Accountant - Junior wanted for our Luxembourg based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting, Audit or Finance
- 5+ years' working experience in the financial sector or completed apprenticeship with strong understanding of financial management
- Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting in addition to excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to design pragmatic and effective solutions
- High level of integrity, discretion and trustworthiness coupled with a target driven and service orientated mind-set
- Languages: fluent English and German, both written and spoken, French is a plus
Your tasks:
- Supporting day-to-day activities of the finance department
- Enforcing the review of accounting records monthly
- Assisting in preparing frequent financial reporting according to local and international GAAPs
- Supporting monthly financial performance analysis and budget in relevant management reporting as well as the management of tax issues
- Preparing reports and presentations as well as calculating cost analysis
