A global media organisation is looking for a talented Financial Accountant to support the division on several deliverables through a period of change and process optimisation.

To successfully deliver this on this 12-month assignment you will need to have:
- Full accounting qualifications (preferably ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) - preferably Big 4
- At least one role in industry, or extensive work in the Media or Retail sectors during practise.
- Responsibilities involving general ledger maintenance, quarter close, key reconciliations, statutory and tax compliance eg tax filings, statutory audits, etc
- Strong Financial Accounting experience
- Experience working with purchase process
- Strong capabilities to fulfil the month-end process, intercompany balance sheet reconciliations, and monitor revenues.
A little more information about the role:
- Assisting the team with Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end periods.
- Preparing US GAAP Statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
- Identify areas of process improvement.
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc project work.
