CONTRACT Sales and Margin Analyst required for a leading retail company on an initial 6-month contract in Leicester.
Location: Leicester
Length: 6 months initial
Salary: Depending on experience
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified accountant with experience of working within a finance function
- Advanced MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with good understanding of IT applications
- A quick learner, who is able to apply business understanding in analysis and problem-solving
- A team player who can develop constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- Comfortable consolidating, reporting and analysing large quantities of information or datasets
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales/margin reporting and variance analysis
- Sales associate performance reporting to facilitate commission calculation
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Annual budgets
- Target setting and maintenance
- Continuous improvement of reporting processes
- Presenting the data to non-tech audiences
About the role:
You will be responsible for Analysis, Insight and Reporting for the Contract channel. The ideal candidate will have an ability to create, present/communicate insightful analysis and/or tools that add value to the business.
