The company

My Client, a leading trade body in the telecoms company who offer policy and regulatory advice on a global scale, is looking to hire an Advocacy Director to drive forward their mobile technically business.

The role

You will drive execution of Connected Society advocacy-related activities, in line with the overall strategy as well as oversee the National Dialogues initiative, ensuring delivery to time, quality and budget, and monitoring impact. This will require close engagement with mobile operators to determine their advocacy priorities and facilitate mobile operators' alignment.

You will be responsible for developing Connected Society advocacy messaging and for managing content development and delivery of GSMA Capacity Building courses for policymakers and regulators on these topics.

About You

You hold a master degree, with an educational background in business, law, economics, or political science.
You have a good understanding of the mobile sector and can demonstrate a solid understanding of policy and regulatory issues as related to digital inclusion via mobile. You have significant experience in designing and delivering advocacy campaigns through stakeholder engagement, building evidence and delivering results
