Description
The current opening is for a talented developer with minimum of 5 years' recent experience using either Abinitio or Talend ETL platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering both batch and Real Time solutions using Abinitio and or Talend and be capable of working in a fast paced environment within a busy ETL team.
The role will require a keen attention to detail to analyze complex business requirements and deliver robust scalable solutions all within agreed timescales. Therefore experience in requirements analysis, work estimation and a track record in production delivery is essential.
Main Skills:
Extensive professional experience in Abinitio and/or Talend building batch and Real Time solutions
Strong SQL skills with experience of Oracle, MSSQL
Strong Linux/Shell Scripting
Experience using queue based technologies (>IBMMQ/>TIBCOEMS/ActiveMQ/Kafka)
Experience with Spark SQL/Spark structured streaming an advantage
Experience with Elasticsearch or equivalent technologies would be an advantage
Experience using attlasian product suite (JIRA/CONFLUENCE/BITBUCKET)
Experience using Jenkins or equivalent continuous-integration pipelines
Extensive SDLC experience (GIT + CI a plus)
Experience with technology in finance with securities and asset management preferred
3rd Level qualification preferred
