Sr. Oracle Database Design Engineer - RAC
This is a great opportunity to work with a global leader in a multi terabyte Oracle environment, designing tuning and building databases.
We are seeking a resource with advanced skills in Oracle RAC, PL/SQL tuning, database design and engineering. You will work closely with application development and engineering and should have excellent database engineering skills to design physical data models, index designs, create partioning, tuning and work on production deployment. The environment is very collaborative and requires excellent communication skills. You will work on and learn Goldengate and exadata, so we are looking for a candidate who wants to learn and grow with us.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelors degree
- 8+ years of progressive Database administration and engineering
- 4+ years of Database Engineering, tuning and design experience
- Expert level skills in multi terabyte Oracle environments - RAC, PL/SQL tuning, database design
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Expert with ASM, DataGuard and troubleshooting
- Experienced and highly knowledgeable in physical data models, index design, partitioning, tuning and production deployment
- Great communication skills - team oriented
