Description
Major Software client based in Southampton requires an exceptional Finance Assistant on a 6 month fixed tem contract starting ASAP.
Day to day activities will include:
- Invoicing and Small order processing - working with our Project Administrator to deliver weekly invoicing
- Purchasing - raising and placement of both internal and external purchase orders.
- Scheduling and Project Co-Ordination - Scheduling and co-ordination of Sales Book.
- Reporting -Invoicing Forecasts
- Checking and verification of the Purchase Ledger invoices
- Price Book updates for Quotes
- Any other ad-hoc administrative tasks necessary in a small team, such as Post and canteen supplies.
Qualifcations and Experience
- AAT Qualified or Part-qualified. Non-qualified could be considered with relevant previous experience.
- Previous experience with accounts and billing, with a thorough understanding of invoicing cycles, purchasing and general office administration is a must.
- Confidence with Excel and the manipulation of data in spreadsheets is also a key requirement.
- An eye for detail and thoroughness alongside being proficient and efficient.
- Good communications skills, comfortable speaking with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
