Description
The Palo Alto SME is responsible for the integration of new Palo Alto Firewall/Proxy Solution with the service monitoring framework and tooling. This highly technical hands-on position with slight project management experience will be the interface to the project delivery teams to determine the operational impact and provide/implement the operational non-functional requirements. The system integrator is responsible for the operationalization of new services and coordinating the On-boarding, Operational Reading Testing and Acceptance processes.
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge of:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) Knowledge in Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
- Strong Knowledge of Networking
- Strong Knowledge of Security Best Practices
- Strong Knowledge of Logging requirements for GDPR
- In-depth knowledge of Linux
- 6 years experience in Telecoms/ISP
- Systems management automation, monitoring, SNMP, Nagios, Spectrum, SevOne.etc.
- Systems Scripting, Shell programming, Perl, Python
- Proven ability/experience working in a multi layered international Matrix organization
- Fluent in English (verbal & written) and preferable 1 other European language
- Bachelors degree in information technology
- Knowledge of ITIL service Management
- Ability to decipher highly technical data
