Position Title: Active Directory Administrator
Site: Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg
Starting date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months eventually renewable
Languages: English - French is an asset
As a Senior Technical Systems Analyst you support the Active Directory and you will play a key role in supporting, managing and administering the Active Directory. This role will identify gaps, needs, and lead improvement efforts to improve AD infrastructure. This role will be considered a subject matter expert (SME) in one or more key technologies under the infrastructure domain. It is expected that this role will operate independently, solve complex problems, and fulfil requests with minimal supervision.
Key Requirements:
Responsible for supporting ongoing medium to high complexity request for Active Directory, LDAP request, Group Policies, TSS, LDS, Varonis integration and any integration solution with AD.
Conduct meetings, give presentations and provide consulting services to other groups on new initiatives. Team collaborations and especially conflict resolution is vital to this role.
Participate in on-call rotation within the team to support Active Directory during non-business hours.
Serve as a project resource on infrastructure project efforts representing functional capabilities. Take on initiatives on self-appointed projects and self-created processes to better enhance the technology.
Provide knowledge sharing, as recognized SME, in efforts such as writing complex knowledge articles, relationship development with other teams, mentoring, and job shadowing.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
University and/or post-graduate degree (preferably Engineering or Computer Science) or 8+ years of IT relevant experience.
Experience with Active Directory, Networking/DNS/DHCP, Domain Controllers, FSMO Roles, Group Policy knowledge, LDAP, SPN, IP Addressing, and AD replications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Windows PowerShell Scripting would be an asset.
Technology: Varonis, LDS, Azure would be an asset Operating System Platform: Windows Server 2008/Windows 7/Windows 10/Windows Server 2012.
Microsoft Certifications, BA/BS, or technology-related certificate and relevant work experience
Nice-to-have
Strong technical knowledge including but not limited to: ITIL, technical programming experience: Java, HTML, C++, and Scripting.
Risk and Compliance Processes and Procedures.
