Unix Sys Admin (Vulnerability)

Candidate Profiles:
The candidates should have at least 1-3 years' experience with the respective Operating systems, so that they can comfortably navigate around the OS with confidence.

The goal is to reduce the number of known vulnerabilities throughout the company's Enterprise. The candidates will be given work from the respective team managers, and will work alongside the incumbent teams.

You will be required to engage with application and business owners around the organisation to assist with testing and proving of remediation solutions. The candidates need to be self-motivated, direction will be provided by Team Managers, Project Managers and local SME's.

Some evening and weekend working may be required to deploy fixes.

Essential Experience/Skills:
Unix/Linux/AIX Operating system knowledge including server and desktop variants.
Working and operating within an ITIL framework, especially in regard to change control.
Team working
Self-motivated
Problem solving

Desired Experience/Skills:
Experience of any previous patching products - SCCM, WSUS, Satellite etc.
Previous patching and or vulnerability remediation experience
Desktop support
Server support
Product/application upgrade knowledge
