Agile Automation Tester
Under the umbrella of Agile Automation Tester my client based in Antwerp and a market leader within their chosen domain are currently looking for 3 particular profiles. They are offering long term assignments of up to 24 months alongside competitive day rates.
The 3 profiles are as follows:
Expert tester:
This profile would consist of somebody who has strong analytical skills to capture end-2-end test scenarios from requirements and execute these in a technical, multi-process environment.
Skills:
- Architect the feature map at system level
- Deeply understands the system behavior and usage
- Expert in exploratory and manual testing
- Bridges business domain with product features
- Excellent communicator and author
Automation Expert:
This profile would be somebody with a solid software developer background in order to build test framework components and to interact with database, remote processes, REST API's and configuration files. This requires a skills set beyond Scripting and UI automation.
Skills:
- Strong coding capabilities in Java/Scala code/libraries and toolschain
- Experience building large multilayer framework/architecture
- Integrates test suites with CI/CD pipeline
- Able to write scripts or code for data provisioning or log analysis
Agile Tester:
You will be Embedded in the scrum team, to team up with developers in analysing stories and define the test approach to bring the story into production. As Scrum teams take long-time ownership of their components, s/he will take care of regression testing needs and automation choices.
Skills:
- Elaborates stories to test scenario's
- Balances exploratory testing with automation
- Uses automation framework to write test suites in Java/Scala
Education:
- Bachelor or Master in a related field; other exceptional candidates with proven track record will be considered.
