Job Title: Site Engineer
Job Location - Dublin, Ireland
Job Role:
The Site Engineer, depending on assigned Portfolio Competence, carries out "Installation Investigation and Engineering". They will also be responsible for assisting with NPI, ASP training, and development of MOP's
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Site Surveys are carried out in accordance to Design requirements.
- Ensure material dimensioning is in accordance to the contract.
- Production of Detailed Design documentation.
- Ensure that the site engineering processes and methods are being adhered to.
- Ensure all site-engineering approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
- Adherence to laws and regulations and act in such a way that the interests of the client are damaged.
- Ensure all team members follow the clients/local regulations of standard safety and health.
- Ensure that the engineering work is performed in accordance to the clients standard taking into consideration customer specifications and the agreed time schedule
- Develop and review methods, processes and support systems for continuous improvements in project engineering and design output
- Conduct site surveys and prepare bill of quantities as basis for equipment/material ordering by Logistics
- Prepare installation engineering documentation, to be used by the Implementation Managers
- Prepare and update as-built documentation for submission to the customer
- Prepare progress reports as required for each project
Experience
- Previous experience in on-site building, installation of RBS and related equipment preferable
- Familiarity with regulatory and customer specific design requirements preferable.
- Customer and site specific accreditations including but not limited to:
- SafePass
- Garda Accreditation
- Eircom Accreditation
- Towercom Accreditation
- ESB Accreditation
- Vodafone Passport
- CIE Accreditation
- Experience of relevant tools like Site Handler preferable
- Good understanding of Microsoft office applications.
- Good understanding of reading/commenting on design drawings.
