Job Title: BlueCoat Network Engineer

Location: Dublin

Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Rates: 450- £475

Position

The Bluecoat Proxy Security Engineer will be responsible for the deploying/rolling out Bluecoat product solutions thorough the enterprise and Function as the primary Bluecoat resource on the network security team.

The Bluecoat Network Security Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Product implementation, enhancement, and integration of Bluecoat products and
  • Functions as a liaison between the client and Symantec Support
  • Effective inter-team communication to efficiently achieve organizational IT goals and performance benchmarks in a timely manner
  • Deploy new sites based off the existing designs and proof of concept in production at other locations
  • Work with an extended on-site and off-site team to develop and maintain a solid network security infrastructure for enterprise clients.
  • The role involves a mixture of many skills, from solutions design and delivery, to trusted client advisor.

Qualifications:

  • Participate in architecture, design and deployment of these Symantec BlueCoat Product solutions:
    • Advance Secure Gateway (ASG/SG) Proxies
    • Management Center
    • Reporter
  • Asist in technical implementation activities related to the Bluecoat product platforms
  • Document solution requirements given business and technical objectives
  • Design and implements pilot and production architecture given success criteria
  • Define, create, and maintains Proxy policies
  • Execute SSL Interception with an integrated internal PKI environment
  • Leads root cause analysis and troubleshooting effort for production deployment
  • Be a liaison between the client and Symantec Support
  • Providing reporting issues, anomalies and problems through proper channels (ie, account management, technical support) along with incident status reports as require.
