Senior Project Manager - Service Transition/Supplier Transition. ITIL | Norwich, Norfolk.
Our prestigious Norwich based client require an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong Service Transition/ITIL experience to manage a number of key workstreams work within their high profile and business critical programme to migrate their Data Centre from one supplier to another.
6 month initial contract. Up to £540 per day.
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering the project to transition all IT services from our client's existing 3rd party data centre to the newly appointed supplier, the client deem it essential for this Senior PM to have experience of transitioning outsourced IT services from one supplier to another.

This role with require significant management of 3rd party IT suppliers at a high level and working with Exec/C-Level stakeholders, so it is essential that this person has a high level of professional gravitas.
There will be a specialist ITIL Service Transition Manager working on this programme, however, it is essential that this Senior PM has a strong understanding across the ITIL disciplines (ideally with ITIL certification), with more in depth knowledge around Service Transition.
Therefore the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Extensive Project Management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects from E2E
- Previous experience of managing projects to transition IT services from one supplier to another.
- Extensive ITIL Service Transition experience (ideally with ITIL certification)
- Experience of working with exec level stakeholders with the ability to demonstrate high professional gravitas
- Strong experience of managing major 3rd party IT suppliers
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills
- A strong commercial awareness and acumen
