Description

Communications Manager required by my client in Central London as part of a Transformation Programme in the Healthcare sector.

The successful Communications Manager will support the internal and external communications plan of a programme aiming to create a five year saving to the sector over £500m.

The Communications Manager will:

* Support the development of communications plans in line with the strategy including the design and delivery of communications campaigns and outputs

* Manage all media channels (digital and other) including horizon scanning opportunities and coverage, escalating and responding to risks, developing content and moderating online channels.

* Support media interviews including brief development

* Provide expert media relations support and advice including day to day relationship management of journalists and publications.

* Write content (programme key messages, media responses, releases and editorial)

* Help to identify and implement efficient communications processes across the programme to ensure that important information is received and dealt with appropriately.

In order to be successful the Programme Communications Manager will need to have proven experience of media and communications delivery management, establishing good relationships and credibility with senior stakeholders and an ability to develop compelling communications messages for stakeholders with well-developed written, verbal and presentation skills. Any experience of working with the health and social care system would be highly desirable.
