Description
Our client based in the South East of Ireland is searching for a J2EE developer to join their talented team to jump in and start contributing to a new flow of work. You will be asked to lead development for components and do everything from design to code and test within an Agile environment. There will be opportunities to work from home however there will be days you will be required to cross over time with a US based team.
Day to day requirements:
- Produce clean, concise code that is unit tested and meets requirements.
- Provide technical expertise for development of Middleware solutions in a J2EE enterprise.
- Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements meet customer needs.
- Produce innovative technical solutions to meet business and product strategies.
- Mentor and guide less experienced developers.
Essential experience:
- J2EE
- SQL
- SOAP and RESTful services
- Apache Camel
- Working within Agile (Scrum) development
- Previous experience working in a continuous integration environment.
- Relevant Computer science or IT qualification.
- Previous experience working with FINEOS but not essential
