Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Our client a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of Pharmaceutical products requires a maintenance technician to join their Loughborough manufacturing site to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on complex mechanical-electro/mechanical systems and process equipment that includes PLC and pneumatic controls.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Following the 10 rules of GMP you will be resolving breakdown and equipment issues as they occur, completing inventory logs, calibration logs, spotting potential hazards, completing maintenance and production logs as required. Working within regulatory requirements you will set up maintain and repair production equipment including PLCs.
Working safely at all times complying with RPE and PPE requirements.
Qualifications and experiences:
*You will have spent some time within a manufacturing environment- GMP (Pharma or Food ideal) and be capable of multi-skilled maintenance, an electrical bias is preferred.
*Formal Engineering Qualification - Mechanical/Electrical HNC/HND/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
*BTEC ONC, C&G Technician or equivalent
You will be required to work either a 3 shift pattern of mornings, afternoons and nights, which attracts a 20% shift uplift or 12 hour rotating shifts which attract a 26% shift uplift.
