Business Analyst - Finance workstream

Contract. Dublin. 6 months +. Global Retailer. EUROS Per day.

Business Analyst required urgently in Dublin. You will work on the Finance Stream and will be responsible for understanding business processes for existing Retail and finance systems updating the to be processes as the project moves through the life cycle, while supporting testing, training and implementation.

The role

  • Develop strong understanding of business processes and translate them into a model that will allow the organisation to achieve its goals.
  • Develop understanding end to end processes spanning multiple systems and the to identify and specify the data and integration requirements
  • Support different project phases, from design to testing through to deployment and change management.
  • Stakeholder management - ensure effective engagement with a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Work with the Oracle Retail Finance project team to ensure all process maps are maintained and updated after testing phases.
  • Manage the BA deliverables from initiation through to sign off, adhering to all PMO requirements and processes.

Skills and experience required

  • Have strong analytical skills to interpret customer needs and translate into application and operational requirements.
  • Possess the ability to work alongside senior management at all levels within the Project, ICT, the business and external service providers/business partners
  • Demonstrate strong planning and organisation skills, ability to plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales.
  • Have strong communications skills (written and verbal) - need to communicate at all levels within the Project, ICT, the business and external service providers/business partners.
  • Experience delivering solutions with 3rd parties
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements for integrations and data transformation in a complex environment - preferably having worked in an environment using XML and Web services
  • Experience testing solutions across multiple systems
  • Experience of working with cloud based systems
  • Some experience with leveraging data analytic technologies
  • Show flexibility in working location; travel within Europe maybe required, but the role may also require occasional travel farther afield - travel costs from Dublin to additional sites are covered by the client/
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support the business and the IT Team.
