SQLServer DBA - Financial Services - London
Details: 6 months; up to £450 per day

The Company
One of the world's largest banking groups will be looking for a highly-skilled DBA to work within their Database Platform team to work across their breadth of SQLServer, Oracle and Sybase platforms. You will be responsible for the planning and completion of Database Administration tasks whilst ensuring the performance of the database environments are monitored and upheld; also ensuring that Database backups are performed successfully.
Key Accountabilities
- Support Developers and Users requests and queries
- Perform regular Database housekeeping tasks
- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain the Database environments
- Produce scripts to perform and automate regular Administration tasks
Key Skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server
- Knowledge and understanding on Oracle and Sybase platforms
- Strong Scripting experience with both Shell and PowerShell
