Development Manager - OOD, Retail/ECommerce experience.
Global Ecommerce/retail organisation requires a Development Manager with a good background in technical development/OOD. You will be managing 3-5 teams of Engineers, making sure deliverables are met, that code is written to a high standard and foster a collaborative approach.
The role requires an individual who has experience of working in a retail/ECommerce environment and understands the journey - E-commerce, searching, buying delivery/distribution & customer support etc.
Although the role is not hands-on, previous development experience/understanding in an OOD environment is important (either Java, C#, C++ etc)
The position requires you to work at 2 sites during the working week (travel expenses paid) and is an Initial 6-12 month contract.
