Description
- To provide leadership to the Project Control team and act as the principal interface with Operations
- To manage and coordinate all contract CSRs and ensure inputs are understood, reviewed and challenged and consequently present the CSR input to senior stakeholders
- To ensure that forward workload is accurately forecast
- To identify and manage Risks and Opportunities and ensure the potential effects are clearly articulated
- To manage and maintain integrated CAM schedules
- To manage the generation, approval and issue of high quality, accurate, integrated management information in line with the Business Review Process.
- To ensure compliance with corporate and Project Management Functional process requirements and standards
- Support the new business/estimating process for Future Bids.
- Support the introduction of Continuous Improvement activities and change programmes
The successful candidate must be flexible, have a high level of attention to detail, be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision. Whilst all relevant qualifications and experience will be considered, the APMP qualification would be advantageous, as would previous planning/Project Control/Business Management experience in an IPT environment.
Very good IT skills (eg MS Office suite, particularly Excel) are essential, and a good working knowledge of a scheduling tool (eg MS Project or OPP) and/or project planning processes and toolsets
The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication, team work, and interpersonal skills, and be capable of liaising with other multi-functional teams
